The view from the room (balcony) which overlooked the bay and beach was stunning. The rooms were light, airy and comfortable. There was parking available and also a laptop for free internet connection.
Although the hotel provided a great breakfast, an evening meal we had in the hotel restaurant was poor.
The staff were very friendly and curteous, the receptionists spoke english and were really helpful and considerate. the hotel was clean and tidy in its appearance, rooms were light and airy and the hotels position on the seafront was wonderful
The staff were very friendly. We were very happy with our room, it was big with a small balcony and view of the beach. The hotel is in a great location, in front of La Concha Beach and walking distance to all the sights (eg. cathedral, peine del viento etc) shops and most importantly the old area for pintxos! We definitely recommend this hotel.
The only thing was the noise from the corridor and on the weekend the disco bar down stairs, but really this was nothing. If you are a light sleeper take earplugs as you really wouldn't want to miss out on staying here!
Location is great.
Whatever you do, don't select the single small room. I've never seen such a small room. Up-graded to a standard double room for more than double the cost! Staff on arrival were quite rude about a double booking. I confirmed a cancelation which they hadn't noted. No apology. Next shift on reception were exact opposite. Very polite and aplogetic.
The sea view and the ability to walk to all the local attractions.
Since we came midweek we were lucky to haveroom overlooking the water. The view was spectacular! The hotel is in the ideal location. Havingparkiing was also a huge plus.
Pleasant, adequate facilities, excellent air conditioning - much appreciated given how hot the weather was. Excellent situation on beach and very near city centre.
Rather cramped single room with view of a wall and some pipes - 'courtyard view' according to the hotel - but I suppose this was reflected in the price.
it was very comfortable clean and it was central for what we wanted in San Sebastian
Right on the beach so great to have a balcony and enjoy the beach and people watching. Sound proofed to outside street noise. Good parking. Comfortable hotel. Very friendly staff.
Room was too light, curtains were not dark enough to keep out street lights.
Staff were very friendly. Located right on the beach and within walking distance of the old town and other attractions. Room was modern.
Room was located near the lift which was really loud and didn't quiten down until late night or early morning.
Right on the broad walk of the Bahia de La Concha. Beautiful views, nice breakfast, everything walkable in town. I would prefer to stay on the beach side for the view. The rooms are large, nice bathrooms with large windows.
The beds were hard however we found that to be so throughout Spain.
The single room I had was very cramped, had no natural daylight and was noisy well into the night due to proximity to the lift shaft. I would recommend this hotel but only if a double room with a window were available.
The location was great. Right on La Concha Beach. San Sebastian in beautiful.
The woman at the front desk Erma(sp?) was accusatory about our reservation without checking who we were first. There was mold around our tub.
Location was perfect. Walking distance to everything. Staff was almost always very kind and was always helpful. Be sure to close the windows at night on Saturday.
Just one word: the view from the balcony!
The floor of the room was literally inclined like 40 degrees or so. The higher parts were where you put your head on the bed. So when you lie down (and sleep, of course), your legs are lower than your head. It isn't good for tired legs, when you are heavily citysightseeing on foot. Very interesting.
